Powerful finals on Santa Monica Pier!
We took over the Pier in Santa Monica again where we organized the finals of the TEQVOLY™ World Tour 5th stop! The 15 women's and 12 men's teams were eager to win the gold medal!
On women's side the most experienced team, Judit Kolada and Lacie Coccia played against newcomers Corinne Quiggle and Sarah Schemerhorn. The ladies played a really powerful match and in the end the already 3 times winner pair, Kolada and Coccia brought home the gold medal.
In the men's final the 1 time winner Dlyan Maarek and his partner, Curt Toppel played against Tate Calles and Colby Nemeth, who were playing at their first torunament. In the first set the more experienced Maarek and Toppel showed us what they know, and win over Calles and Nemeth. But the match didn't end that time, Calles and Nemeth came back for the 2nd set and they saved the match for a 3rd set. In the final set you could tell that both team are eager to win the tournament but Nemeth served 2 aces in the end and they secured their win.
